U-FLUME
U-Flume takes advantage of corrugated pipe characteristics to offer many features such as light weight, ease of handling, excellent strength and durability. These products are used widely for irrigation channels, collecting/drainage channels in landslide areas, temporary drainage ditches for engineering works and similar applications.
Lightweight and easy to transport
Because its mass is far smaller (1/5 to 1/10) than that of concrete flumes, U-flume can be easily transported by a small number of workers even for large-scale channels, and can be used even in weak ground and isolated mountainous areas.
Easy installation cuts construction time
Installation is easy because assembly requires only fastening of bolts. Construction time can also be reduced compared to concrete, resulting in excellent cost performance.
Can be installed in weak ground
With low rigidity in the direction of extension, U-Flume is ideal for weak ground that tends to undergo uneven settlement.
Wide selection of sizes
To allow selection according to site conditions, U-Flume is available in a wide range of sizes from 300mm to 3,400mm in width, and up to 2,000mm in depth.
